Rochelle Atlas Maize
Known as Los Angeles’ real estate maven, Rochelle Atlas Maize is synonymous with the gold standard of luxury real estate. As the Executive Director of the Luxury Estates Division at Nourmand & Associates, Rochelle has earned an enviable position as one of Los Angeles’ most successful and sought-after real estate agents – even in Southern California’s ultra-competitive market.
With a client roster that includes award-winning actors, entertainment industry executives, renowned artists, foreign investors and other high-net-worth individuals, Rochelle has multiple jaw-dropping accomplishments to her credit, thanks to her creativity, financial acumen and work ethic.
With more than $500 million in sales over the last three years, Rochelle has put a new spin on the luxury real estate game, focusing on the core areas of Bel Air, Holmby Hills, Beverly Hills, Hollywood Hills, Brentwood and select beach communities. Her track record of success has earned her recognition on the Wall Street Journal’s Top Brokers list, The Hollywood Reporter’s Top 25 Real Estate Agents list and Variety’s Real Estate Elite list.
Rochelle started her business career in the commodity brokerage area, with prior experience in wealth management. Though she rose to Vice President of a Beverly Hills investment firm, her interests always lay in the real estate industry—she invested in real estate throughout her adult life, and was continually drawn to the residential side of the business, eventually making a permanent career shift to luxury residential real estate. Rochelle’s varied background means that her clients get someone who has an eye for the right property (as an investor), how to improve the property and make it more valuable (as a designer and developer) and how to craft the best deal (as a wealth manager).
Rochelle is frequently chosen to represent the most unique properties in Los Angeles. In 2017, she was hired to sell an 11,000-square-foot home on Beverly Hills’ most coveted street, Greenway Drive, with a list price of $22.5 million. She also sold a stunning $13.85 million home in Beverly Hills Flats within one week, setting a new per-square-foot record of more than $2,400. Incidentally, this was the third time Rochelle had sold that same property over the course of her career.
Rochelle and her listings regularly make headlines in highly regarded media outlets, including The Los Angeles Times, which frequently selects her listings for their spotlight “Home of the Day” feature, as well as the Wall Street Journal, which recognized her for her representation of numerous Hollywood icons, including the late talent agent Freddie Fields. Several of her properties have been featured on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing.
With such a demanding work schedule, it’s hard to imagine Rochelle would have much time for anything else, but the real estate maven makes time to give back to the community. She serves on the Board of Friends of Greystone in Beverly Hills, and is active in donating time, money and resources to the Jewish Federation, Give Back Homes, Creative Bridge Coalition and more. In 2005, Rochelle was also proud to co-found Green Youth Movement (GYM) with her daughter, Ally. One of GYM’s greatest achievements has been its successful implementation of environmental awareness into elementary school curriculums across classrooms in California.
Rochelle lives in Beverly Hills with her husband Richard. She has two daughters, who have inherited their mother’s strong work ethic.
